Users can create a Yahoo account by going to the official Yahoo Homepage and clicking “Sign Up” in the top right hand corner. From here, the user can create his/her personal Yahoo email address and password as well as fill in some basic personal information such as name, gender, and birthday. The user can then click “Create My Account” at the bottom of the screen and have instant access to his/her new Yahoo account.

 

How to Delete a Yahoo Account

If someone created a Yahoo account and decided that it is not right for him/her, he/she can delete it by going to the Yahoo Termination page, signing into his/her Yahoo account, confirming his/her identity by typing in his/her password again, and clicking “Terminate this Account.” Users should note that this process may take up to 90 days and will prevent them from accessing any of their accounts that are associated with Yahoo, such as GeoCities and HotJob profiles.
