What is Android Software?
Android software is a program that is capable of running on the Android mobile operating system provided by Google. Android is an open source operating system that anyone can make modifications to or create applications that can run with it. This differs dramatically from other mobile operating systems that are vendor-specific and are not interchangeable with other models and brands. Because Android is an open source, its software is also an open source, making Android software very compatible with other systems and popular among those systems' users. Several examples of free Android software are listed below.

Deskbell is another free Android software that is designed to produce a loud ring or chime whenever the user wishes. Users can also browse weather conditions at their leisure and set local areas as a default starting point. iMap Weather displays weather conditions in graphical, real-time visualizations and can show the user several perspectives including local weather conditions, statewide weather conditions, as well as federal and global weather conditions.
WordPlayer
WordPlayer is a free application specifically designed for Android phones that allows Android users to download eBooks from the Internet. While WordPlayer and some of the eBooks found using WordPlayer are free, many WordPlayer eBooks must be purchased. WordPlayer connects the user to these eBooks in a matter of seconds and has a wide selection of several thousand eBooks to choose from. All eBooks that have been downloaded to the user's Android phone using WordPlayer are displayed in the WordPlayer interface.
